Hi Everyone;
I finally got out the screwdriver and 9/16 wrench and attempted to adjust a few of my flames that are askew. My oven flame is too low, but I can't get to the screw on the mixer shutter except with one corner of the screwdriver tip. There is a gas line tube in the way. Suggestions?
Also, I keep messing with my left front burner and it seems I get the flame just right, then re-light it and it is fine. But, after being off for a while when I light it I get a bright orange whoosh about 3" tall. Then the flames settle down to the appropriate height and color. More suggestions?
Thanks,
Ann
ps I'm giving up on getting a higher flame for the broiler. I've adjusted and adjusted and all I can get is a scant 1/8" - not the recommended 1/4". Could this be caused by a clot some place in the line?
